I was taking a look at my blog today, something I have not done in a while, more specifically for 5 months, and I saw that I had a few posts that I never published. I'm such a ninny. So, in OCTOBER Garrett and I went to Des Moines, IA to celebrate my sweet Tephy's wedding day! I have known many people who went to college in IA and I was always SO confused on what on earth they did there. Not that Marion, IN was any better. However, since visiting, I have grown a huge appreciation for the weird hilly farm lands. 

Guys, Des Moines is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever been to. Who knew that Iowa help such a gem! I was so surprised at how green it was! We walked around a sculpture park, went for a bike ride, ate lamb sliders for lunch, and even visited the most amazing furniture salvage store. I mean, AMAZING. I'm drooling just thinking back on it. 

So now, 5 months later, go ahead and enjoy all of these pictures of me in my purple hand-me-down coat and Garrett in his super nice yellow jacket. 

Oh, and while we are at it, let's notice how freakin' long my hair has gotten since these pictures were taken! I'm a new women. 

I really go for it when I mimic sculptures.

One Year Anniversary

It's been a whole year since Garrett and I got married! Can you believe it?! 

Our wedding, like many others, was a total blur. However, most of it was due to my flu like symptoms that proceeded to gradually get worse as the day went on. Ending with changing out of my wedding dress and throwing up in between taking pictures with people and dancing. 

I'm a real class act. Truly.
